Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client, supporting implementation of a new construction management system. The role requires both virtual and in-person sessions across multiple locations and extensive travel.

You will ensure participants gain the knowledge and skills to use the new system, work with project and program managers, and drive user adoption during deployment. Strong facilitation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to travel extensively.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at facilitation and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and in-person settings.
• Follow approved lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Answer questions and provide guidance during training sessions.
• Maintain engaging, well-managed classroom environments and ensure participant understanding.
• Participate in train-the-trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery methods and materials.
• Represent the training team professionally with government personnel and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively across organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
