Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s new construction management system, in both virtual and in-person environments. You will train personnel, project managers, engineers, and external contractors, ensuring knowledge transfer and adoption across multiple locations while aligning with approved lesson plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years related experience; travel may be required.
• Experience delivering software or enterprise system training preferred.
• Proficiency with virtual training platforms such as Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training per approved lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers on course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team with government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
