Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s new construction management system. The role covers virtual and in‑person sessions for diverse audiences, including project managers, engineers, and external contractors.

The successful candidate will have strong facilitation skills, software training experience, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change across multiple locations. 100% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience.
• US citizen required for federal program work.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work across locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and in-person settings.
• Follow approved lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Answer participant questions and provide functional guidance.
• Maintain classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Suggest improvements to training methods and materials.
• Represent the training team when engaging with government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
