Job summary

HDR's Federal Business Group seeks a Technology Director to drive strategic technology vision across six Business Groups, coordinating with Corporate Technology to deliver compliant platforms for Federal clients.

You will lead a team of experts, set roadmaps, evaluate emerging tech including AI/ML, digital twins, and secure cloud, and ensure alignment with NIST, RMF, FedRAMP. This role shapes HDR's technology leadership and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology strategy for multidisciplinary engineering or professional services.
• Minimum 10 years delivering technology solutions for Federal clients within the AEC space.
• Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks including NIST RMF FedRAMP CUI.
• Experience evaluating technology and software development and deployment.
• Broad understanding of technologies and their delivery within Federal sectors.
• Experience in digital delivery, modeling, data architecture, data management, AI, cloud, automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies for Federal programs and establish performance metrics.
• Drive technology innovation that enhances Federal program performance, resilience, security and compliance.
• Represent the FBG in enterprise technology planning and ensure compliant platforms.
• Participate in HDR Technology Leadership Team and drive adoption of AI/ML and automated solutions.
• Develop and align technology visions and roadmaps for Federal Market Sectors and Delivery Teams.
• Define technology capability requirements and coordinate with Corporate IT for high-performance compute and secure clouds.
• Lead governance with Federal compliance in mind and promote reusable solutions.
• Support HDR proposals for investment in technology to drive value and productivity.
• Coordinate with HDR leadership to build enterprise platforms aligned with Federal standards.
