Job summary

HDR's Federal Business Group seeks a Technology Director to drive a strategic vision and lead a team of experts in implementing technology solutions for federal programs. You will collaborate with federal leadership to identify, evaluate, and deploy initiatives that enhance project execution, efficiency, and innovation.

You will build roadmaps, align with security standards (NIST, FedRAMP, RMF, CUI), and champion AI/ML, automation, and secure cloud adoption across HDR.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise technology strategy for multidisciplinary engineering or professional services.
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience executing projects involving technological solutions within the AEC industry for Federal clients
• Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks and requirements including NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, and CUI.
• Experience evaluating technology, and software development and deployment
• Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute applied technology strategies, implementation plans, and foster lasting change within an organization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to find solutions that advance projects and initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies relevant to Federal programs and establish metrics for adoption and value.
• Drive technology innovation that supports Federal program performance, resilience, security, and compliance.
• Represent the FBG in enterprise technology planning and security compliance discussions.
• Lead HDR Technology Leadership Team collaborations to drive ROI and adoption of AI/ML and automation.
• Develop technology roadmaps for Federal Market Sectors and Delivery Teams.
• Partner with Corporate Technology to ensure Federal compliant platforms and investments.
• Standardize workflows and delivery practices for Federal programs with compliant approaches.
