Job summary

Insight is seeking a Federal Solutions Executive for the Public Sector to grow revenue in federal accounts. You will partner with delivery teams, serve as a trusted advisor, and identify new opportunities in cloud, data, AI, and cybersecurity domains.

The role requires MBA or Master’s degree and 8–10+ years of technical sales experience in the public sector, with strong communication and negotiation skills. Remote work possible for international travel up to 30 days per year.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s Degree and 8-10+ years of technical sales experience.
• Public Sector - Federal solution sales experience.
• Certifications in sales and partner management, complex sales training, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with our delivery team to increase revenue and uncover new opportunities for clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging industry and technical knowledge to build relationships and identify new solution sales opportunities.
• Maintain and update commission database used to track & compute variable compensation and set sales quotas.
• Identify, develop, and close federal solution sales opportunities.
• Increase revenue by expanding clients’ purchasing into new solutions categories.
• Drive business development and pre‑sales initiatives.
• Achieve sales and profit goals through vendor partner teaming, onsite client engagements, and implementation support.
