Job summary

ServiceNow seeks an Advisory Solution Consultant for Federal defense engagements to be the technical expert and trusted advisor. You will guide DoD and federal SI prospects from discovery to proof of value, highlighting AI-driven visibility and security posture improvements across IT, OT, and cloud environments.

You will lead tailored product demonstrations, design live engagements, and partner with Sales to close complex deals while aligning with federal compliance and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering in cybersecurity or IT operations.
• Direct experience selling to Federal, DoD, or Federal System Integrators.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business impact for executives and technical audiences.
• Expertise with enterprise cybersecurity solutions, cloud platforms, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Federal customers, map ServiceNow Security to outcomes.
• Deliver compelling product demos and technical deep dives with AI-driven visibility.
• Design and manage proof-of-value engagements in live federal environments.
• Guide complex opportunities with sales, providing technical credibility at each milestone.
• Support marketing and sales activities with technical content and field engagement.
• Provide feedback to product management on federal requirements and market differentiation.
• Share battle-tested assets and best practices with the broader team.
• Stay current on federal security trends and new Armis/Veza capabilities.
