Job summary

micro1 seeks a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert for a remote, US-only contractor role. You will contribute to training next-gen AI systems by producing authentic federal reports and staff writings.

You'll craft high-quality WARs, SITREPs, after-action summaries, and executive briefings, reflecting federal standards. Prior federal reporting experience is preferred, with strong written communication and attention to accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a federal professional in US government reporting or staff writing with at least 3 years preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to produce templated reports such as WARs, SITREPs, and executive summaries.
• Background with one or more branches of the US military is valued.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine authentic federal reporting artifacts such as WARs, SITREPs, after-action summaries, and executive briefings, based on prompts and documentation.
• Develop high-quality, clear written responses and summaries reflecting federal and military reporting styles.
• Evaluate and grade sample submissions using detailed grading guidelines to assess clarity, accuracy, compliance, and adherence to reporting conventions.
• Contribute input artifacts and golden reference responses for status, activity, and compliance report types used across federal agencies and military branches.
• Support creation of guidelines, criteria, and evaluative rubrics for training AI models in federal report generation and staff writing.
• Consult on task design and requirements, lending insights from specialized reporting experience to improve outputs.
• Participate in feedback cycles to ensure deliverables meet evolving project standards.
