YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports for an AI-focused project. You will develop WARs, SITREPs, and executive summaries in alignment with established standards.

Candidates should have 3+ years of federal reporting or staff writing experience, preferably with the DoD, and be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This remote, US-based role offers flexible collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

3+ years of federal reporting or staff writing experience.
Experience with military or federal reporting formats and standards.
US military background preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
Develop content following federal and military reporting standards.
Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
