Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Public Sector Field Enablement Manager to shape enablement strategy across Federal and National Security accounts in the United States. You will partner with Sales and Field Engineering to translate priorities into measurable improvements in field readiness, ramp, and consumption outcomes.

Within 12-18 months, you will establish a prioritized enablement roadmap for ~75 account executives and field engineers, driving certifications, skills adoption, and repeatable ramp

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in sales enablement or related roles.
• Experience supporting federal or national security agencies and understanding procurement and buyer decision-making.
• Ability to build and operationalize an enablement function or major program in a fast-moving environment.
• Trusted advisor to senior Sales and Field Engineering leaders translating strategy into enablement outcomes.
• Exceptional written, verbal, storytelling, and presentation skills with ability to influence executives.
• Experience using AI to create, scale, measure, or deliver enablement and familiarity with data concepts and Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the public sector enablement strategy to win new customers and grow platform consumption.
• Establish and scale certifications, skills, and selling behaviors for field teams.
• Improve ramp time for new public sector reps and solutions architects with repeatable outcomes.
• Drive enablement-informed pipeline and public sector consumption through aligned plays and value narratives.
• Navigate government procurement vehicles, security requirements, and compliance in deals.
