Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Federal Principal Presales Architect to lead the design of IT solutions for a Federal customer. This role is remote/teleworker, with work-from-home flexibility, located in Northern VA, DC metro, or Maryland.

You will provide technical leadership, align solutions with customer objectives, mentor peers, and collaborate with account teams to deliver end-to-end architectures including cloud, hardware, software, and services.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph at time of hire.
• 8+ years of technical experience in Enterprise IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
• 5+ years of work with AI, cloud software (open source, containers, virtualization, system management) and hardware (server, storage, networking).
• Experience with enterprise IT architecture frameworks and project management methodologies is helpful but not required.
• 2+ Industry standard relevant technology certifications or equivalent experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate in-depth technical discussions with clients and account teams to build strong relationships, assess business needs, and evaluate existing environments.
• Develop and present strategic technology recommendations that support customer transformation initiatives; articulate solution value propositions.
• Orchestrate cross-functional account team collaboration to define technical strategy and deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Contribute to the Account Business Planning process by applying a technical lens to industry developments and the customer’s technical landscape.
• Monitor the account pipeline and nurture opportunities through successful closure while identifying growth potential.
