Job summary

Salute is seeking an IT Lead for Federal Business Development to drive technical solutions across the U.S. Federal Government.

The role partners with Business Development, Capture, and Solutions Engineering to identify and pursue opportunities in DoD, IC, and civilian agencies, focusing on data center, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI/HPC domains. The position requires 8+ years in IT infrastructure and 5+ years with federal customers, with travel 25-40% nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or data center operations.
• Minimum 5+ years supporting federal government customers, programs, or business development efforts.
• Demonstrated experience developing technical solutions for federal procurements.
• Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53/171, CMMC, RMF) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution development during capture and proposal activities.
• Authors and reviews technical proposal volumes and solution narratives.
• Develop technical graphics, architectures, and compliance matrices.
• Support oral presentations, demonstrations, and customer workshops.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with contractual, operational, and security requirements.
