STI federal is seeking a Federal IT Business Development & Capture Manager to drive growth in the federal marketplace. You will support strategic positioning for IT services across target agencies, focusing on relationship building, opportunities, and successful bids.

The role emphasizes leveraging contacts, pursuing 8(a) sole source awards, set-aside contracts, and subcontracting. Remote work with up to 50% travel may apply, with a strong preference for DC metro area candidates.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field, or four years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 10 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in federal government contracting.
• Proven success securing federal contracts ranging from $5 million to $50 million, including IDIQs, task orders, and stand-alone contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and nurture relationships with target federal agencies to drive contract wins and growth.
• Identify realistic opportunities for pipeline through research and relationships, measured by win probability.
• Lead capture efforts to achieve $50M+ contract wins in year one and $100M+ by year three.
• Increase the team’s win rate through targeted capture management and strategic partnerships.
• Develop STI federal’s brand within target agencies via events, networking, and marketing materials.
