Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Federal Human Capital Resource to support federal agencies in improving HR operations, modernizing HR processes, and advancing HCM transformation initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5–7 years of experience in human resources, policy analysis, or a related field with responsibility for interpreting and applying HR policies, regulations, or procedures.
• Experience supporting Federal Human Resources or Human Capital programs.
• Knowledge of OPM regulations and guidance; Federal HR policies and procedures; Human Capital lifecycle management.
• Experience in one or more HR functional areas: Staffing and Recruitment; Classification; Benefits; Administration; Leave Programs; Employee and Labor Relations; Performance Management; HR Compliance

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve federal HR business processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from client stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder working sessions to assess current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct gap analyses and develop recommendations for process modernization and standardization.
• Support Human Capital transformation initiatives, including HR technology and HCM implementation projects.
• Translate HR business needs into functional requirements for technology teams and system integrators.
• Develop process maps, workflow documentation, user stories, and operating procedures.
• Support change management, communications, and user adoption activities.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare client-facing presentations, briefings, and executive-level deliverables.
