Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Federal Human Capital Management Consultant to help federal agencies modernize HR processes and implement HCM transformations. You will combine HR policy expertise, business process improvement, and stakeholder engagement with HR systems knowledge to optimize workforce management and support enterprise HR programs.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a Bachelor's degree, and 5–7 years in HR policy or related fields, with experience in federal HR programs and multiple HR

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and current residence within the United States
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust
• 5–7 years of experience in HR, policy analysis, or a related field
• Experience supporting Federal HR or HCM programs
• Knowledge of OPM regulations and federal HR policies
• Experience in staffing, classification, benefits, administration, and related topics
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and achieving consensus

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve federal HR business processes across the employee lifecycle
• Gather, document, and validate requirements from client stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions
• Conduct gap analyses and develop modernization recommendations
• Translate HR needs into functional requirements for IT teams
• Develop process maps, workflows, user stories, and SOPs
• Support change management, communications, and user adoption
• Prepare client-facing presentations and executive deliverables
