Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or National
• Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
• Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
• Register with Selective Service if male born after 12/31/1959
• Current or former political appointees: disclose information to HR if applicable
• Possess DE certification or obtain DE certification in the federal government

Responsibilities

• Acts as GSA’s staffing and recruitment policy expert, providing leadership and authoritative guidance on interpretation of policy.
• Researches and advises on sensitive staffing HR issues in line with government initiatives.
• Develops agency-wide policy, guidance, directives, and instructions related to recruitment and staffing.
• Coordinates with TAC and other organizations, offering technical advice and recommendations.
• Applies qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve program effectiveness and develop long-range plans.
