Qualifications

• 5+ years in U.S. federal business development or related field.
• Strong understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle.
• Ability to connect operational users, program offices, funders, policymakers and partners toward award.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to meet stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret or higher clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute capture strategies for Sofar’s highest-priority U.S. federal opportunities across defense and civilian agencies.
• Lead growth metrics, pipeline health, partner activity, and resource needs.
• Represent Sofar at customer meetings, industry events, and partner discussions.
• Lead government affairs execution in coordination with external advisors.
• Collaborate on proposals, statements of work, ROMs, and presentations for customer-facing submissions.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with prime contractors and other partners.
• Coordinate across sales, product, engineering, legal, and finance to pursue priority pursuits.
