Job summary

Citi in Washington, DC seeks a Vice President for the U.S. Federal Government Sector to originate new business, build client relationships and deliver Citi’s ideas across Banking, Markets and Services to federal agencies.

This role partners with the Federal Government PAM, drives sustainable revenue, ensures risk controls and client satisfaction, and mentors junior staff while traveling for client meetings.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of banking and/or Federal Government sales and contracting experience preferred.
• Series 79 and 63 required within 90 days of accepting the job.
• Citi Credit College within 12 months of accepting the job.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, cash management and payments.

Responsibilities

• Originate new business and identify cross-sell opportunities with Federal Government clients.
• Develop client relationships and deliver Citi's banking, markets and services solutions.
• Collaborate with PAMs and risk partners to manage contract requirements.
• Lead presentations, proposals and client meetings.
• Travel to client meetings as needed.
