Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to support federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX. You will be the subject matter expert for fire and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with UFC 3-600-01, NFPA standards, and applicable codes, including design reviews, inspections, and testing.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, PE license, and at least five years of fire protection experience; US citizenship and ability to pass a federal background review and drug

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Five years of fire protection engineering experience.
Knowledge of UFC 3-600-01 and NFPA fire/life-safety standards.
US citizenship and ability to pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

Provide fire protection engineering support for federal construction projects.
Serve as subject matter expert for fire and life safety systems.
Perform design reviews, inspections, QA, submittal reviews, and testing.
Coordinate with project teams through all construction phases.
