Accura Engineering is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer for Fort Hood, TX. The role focuses on fire protection engineering support for federal construction projects, ensuring compliance with UFC 3-600-01, NFPA standards, and applicable codes.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 5+ years of experience, and strong writing and coordination skills to work with government personnel and contractors throughout project phases.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• Minimum five years of fire protection engineering experience.
• Knowledge of UFC 3-600-01, NFPA standards, and fire/life safety requirements.
• Experience with federal construction projects preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide fire protection engineering support for federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX.
• Serve as SME for fire and life safety systems and ensure compliance with codes.
• Review designs, perform inspections, QA, submittal reviews, and acceptance testing.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Prepare technical reports and provide guidance on facility design and protection systems.
