Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a high‑performing Federal Account Executive to own and grow a named Federal territory (Library of Congress, OPM, Dept of Commerce, DOT, and the Legislative Branch). This is an individual contributor role targeting net‑new logos and expansion in large, complex deals.

You will build a strategic pipeline, engage C‑level decision makers, and articulate how Cohesity's AI‑powered data security platform delivers cyber resilience, compliance, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proven success in quota-carrying enterprise sales roles.
• Experience selling to Information Security / Cybersecurity teams and executive buyers.
• Knowledge of data security architectures and risk management.
• Familiarity with Cohesity solutions and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

• Own an enterprise territory and meet annual quota through new logos and account expansion.
• Build a robust pipeline from prospecting to close for complex enterprise deals.
• Engage C-level and VP-level decision makers and run structured, value-based sales cycles.
• Develop business cases linking Cohesity as cyber resilience and data security to outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales engineers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and territory plans within Salesforce.
