Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a high‑caliber Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead to drive strategy and partnerships with regional and national General Contractors on design‑build initiatives for U.S. Government opportunities.

You will lead teaming, negotiate terms, and align pursuit resources with prime contractor interest. You will collaborate with CSLs, preconstruction, legal, and sales teams to maximize probability of award and shepherd the pipeline from target identification through teaming

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Travel up to 40% may be required.
• Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and teaming strategies with federal and contractor partners.
• Build executive-level relationships to drive early teaming commitments.
• Develop and execute strategies for design‑build and alternative delivery models.
• Coordinate with CSLs, preconstruction, legal, and sales teams for opportunities.
• Track and manage federal pipeline and teaming agreements.
• Identify friction points between General Contractor and architect‑engineer teams.
