Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead to shape partnerships with national and regional General Contractors for U.S. Government projects, using design-build and other innovative delivery methods.

Bachelor's degree required.
15 years of related experience.
Travel may be required; frequency depends on duties.
Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

Target regional and national General Contractors pursuing federal alt delivery contracts.
Position CDM Smith as the preferred design subcontractor early in the procurement cycle.
Present engineering expertise, constructability, cost validation to GC teams.
Lead teaming strategy for DoW and other federal agency opportunities.
Coordinate with federal CSLs to maintain a qualified pipeline and teaming decisions.
Track agency movement toward accelerated delivery and align pursuit resources.
Identify and resolve friction between GC and architect‑engineer during design validation.
Serve as the senior relationship and capture lead through teaming agreement execution.
Transition to pursuit and delivery teams after teaming agreements.
