Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a highly experienced Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead to drive strategy and partnerships for the U.S. Government and large prime contractors in alternative delivery projects.

You will cultivate executive-level relationships, identify priority pursuits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the probability of award and successful delivery across progressive design-build and other models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency depends on duties.
• Equivalent direct experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 15 years in federal architecture/engineering and business development.
• Experience with major federal delivery projects and alternative delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Target regional and national General Contractors pursuing federal alternative delivery contracts.
• Position CDM Smith as the preferred design subcontractor early in procurement cycles; negotiate terms.
• Lead teaming strategy, translating procurement criteria into competitive designer-led structures.
• Collaborate with CSLs and pursuit teams to develop and execute teaming strategies.
• Track agency movement toward accelerated delivery methods; align pursuit resources.
• Serve as senior relationship and capture lead through teaming agreements and transition to delivery teams.
