Job summary

Qualifications

• Federal Project Manager experience on projects valued over $20M.
• Federal construction experience with a general contractor.
• Active CQM certification or site-badging qualifications.
• Experience in contract administration, change order management, procurement, scheduling, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of federal construction requirements and QC processes.
• Ability to lead and supervise project staff (APMs, Project Engineers, Superintendents, QC).
• Proactive problem-solver with strong multitasking and organization.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, and financial management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams through challenges.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and resolve conflicts.
• Capability to foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Commitment to excellence: results-oriented, adaptable, ethical, team-focused.
• OSHA 30 or safety background is beneficial.
• Experience in federal environments as PM, QCM, or Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedules, owner and subcontractor billing, and financial reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of contract terms; manage multiple parties per project.
• Create long- and short-term project plans with milestones and deadlines.
• Delegate tasks to team members for effective execution.
• Make timely decisions when progressing projects with multiple options.
• Act as main contact for teams to ensure coordinated actions.
• Communicate with leadership to align with goals and priorities.
• Establish expectations and ensure quality control across project development.
• Adjust schedules and targets as conditions or financing change.
• Secure permits and verify subcontractor insurance coverage.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate work with internal and external partners.
• Lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Submit monthly status reports; manage close-out documents and warranties.
• Maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and design partners.
• Ensure project deadlines and budgets are met; monitor costs to complete.
• Enforce safety plans and communicate safety requirements to all parties.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
• Foster inclusive, diverse project teams.
