AFG Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (CM as Advisor – Construction Phase) to oversee the Trout River Land Port of Entry project in a federal context. You will coordinate with GSA, designers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure scope, schedule, quality, and risk adherence throughout construction.

The role emphasizes coordinating multi-structure renovations, managing complex systems, and leading meetings while ensuring compliance with contract documents and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in construction management for federally funded or complex public-sector projects.
• Experience managing multi-building, systems-intensive renovations, including historic structures.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, commissioning coordination, and risk management.
• Ability to manage parallel technical disciplines and concurrent construction activities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for federal project delivery.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary coordination between GSA, the design team, contractors, commissioning agents, and stakeholders during the construction phase.
• Manage construction phase activities per the SOW, including scope, schedule, quality, cost, and risk oversight.
• Lead coordination for multi-structure execution, including renovation of the historic structure and building addition.
• Oversee construction sequencing and phasing to manage concurrent activities across multiple buildings and systems.
• Direct and coordinate systems-intensive construction efforts, including electrical distribution, gensets, fire suppression, BAS and life-safety.
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and coordination drawings to ensure contract compliance.
