Job summary

Project Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager as Advisor (CMa) to provide onsite construction management, inspection, and advisory support for the construction of a 3,300-square-foot modular facility for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Navajo Nation land in Window Rock, Arizona.

The CMa will assist the U.S. General Services Administration Project Manager throughout acquisition, design review, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management, inspection, and government construction policies.
• Knowledge of building systems coordination and code compliance.
• Ability to work onsite with variable schedules and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite construction management and daily inspection during construction.
• Coordinate with GSA, tenant agency, design-build contractor and stakeholders.
• Review design documents for constructability and code compliance; track comments.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, phasing, look-aheads, tests and closeout; identify risks.
• Perform and document inspections; track deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Maintain complete project records in GSA Kahua.
• Review payment applications and provide recommendations to the GSA Project Manager.
• Prepare or review cost estimates and contractor pricing; document variances.
• Monitor safety, health, quality-control, and security requirements; report noncompliance.
• Support commissioning and project closeout with final reports and warranties.
