Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Change Management Consultant to help federal agencies adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working to advance missions. You will drive readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, and training across complex programs in federal environments.

You will collaborate with project teams, assess change impacts, develop detailed plans, and monitor adoption to ensure lasting results that improve mission outcomes and organizational performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in change management, workforce transformation, Agile change, change analytics, or design thinking.
• 2–3 years of change delivery experience in a federal environment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Pega, ServiceNow, Appian, cloud providers, or cyber security.
• U.S. citizenship required for federal client work.
• Willingness to be on-site 100%.
• Bonus points: consulting experience in change management.
• Bonus points: CCMP or PROSCI certification.
• Bonus points: AI tools to enhance change efforts.
• Bonus points: familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and related authoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project teams to integrate change management strategies into broader project plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and federal stakeholders to align change efforts with organizational goals and mission objectives.
• Conduct readiness assessments and change impact analyses to identify risks, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
• Develop detailed change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training strategies, to support federal client transformation efforts.
• Execute change management activities, such as facilitating workshops, conducting impact analyses, and implementing engagement strategies to drive adoption.
• Create and deliver tailored communications and materials to prepare and support end-users through change initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities, collecting feedback and making real-time adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Support the development of tools, templates, and methodologies to enhance the Talent & Organization practice and ensure repeatable success.
