Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a highly experienced business development and capture professional to lead Federal alternative delivery pursuits, including Progressive Design‑Build and DB2B strategies for U.S. Government opportunities.

You will build executive relationships with regional and national General Contractors, position CDM Smith as a preferred subcontractor, and drive early teaming commitments with a focus on pursuit success and project delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in federal architecture, engineering, and construction business development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CDM Smith’s strategy and partnerships with national and regional General Contractors pursuing federal alternative delivery opportunities.
• Position CDM Smith as the exclusive or preferred lead design partner on prime contractor teams before solicitations.
• Develop and execute teaming strategies with CSLs and cross-functional teams.
• Manage the General Contractor relationship pipeline from target identification through teaming agreements.
• Serve as the senior relationship and capture lead through teaming agreement execution and transition to pursuit teams.
