Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking candidates for its Management & Sales Training Program in Indianapolis. This accelerated, entry-level role prepares you for a Store Management position in 18–24 months with a path to Assistant Store Manager after initial training.

Typical schedule is 44 hours per week, including evenings/weekends. You will learn operations, clients, and internal strategy while leading in a million-dollar store, selling to large contractors and commercial buyers.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in retail, sales or customer service.
• One year of leadership experience or leading teams.
• Experience selling paint or related products is a plus.
• Experience with CRM or timekeeping systems is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build product knowledge to recommend effectively.
• Build relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration.
• Ensure policy safety and loss prevention compliance.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training and performance management.
• Respond to customer and/or employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
