Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in a fast-paced retail environment. This role combines leadership with hands-on retail operations including stocking, merchandising, customer service and maintaining store standards.

You will train to run your own store, develop teams, and drive results with ALDI’s industry-leading training and growth opportunities. Starting wage is $29.50 per hour with earning potential growth in Year 1.

Qualifications

• Must be able to develop rapport, trust, and open communication with direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with district manager involvement as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and makes recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel including advancement and termination decisions as appropriate.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures within the store and with regulations.
