Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is offering the Rooms Manager-in-Training (MIT) program, a 12‑month fast‑track development immersing you in Front Office and Housekeeping. You'll gain hands-on experience and lay a foundation for a long-term career with HEI.

Recent hospitality graduates are encouraged to apply. This paid MIT program develops operations know-how and leadership skills across hotel departments, with opportunities to advance within HEI across various properties.

Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Willing to relocate for placement after MIT program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Front Office and Housekeeping during placement.
• Complete shifts in Front Office and Housekeeping roles.
• Attend department and leadership meetings.
• Become proficient with PMS and other hotel systems.
• Use labor tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Interact with guests and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and hotel policies.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available for shifts.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
