Job summary

Buona is seeking a Cook to prepare food to high-quality standards while maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order by following recipes and uphold Buona standards.

Responsibilities include learning multiple positions, following recipes, maintaining portions, and ensuring food quality before serving. You will restock, uphold safety standards, and respond quickly to guests across dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru channels.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and standard cooking processes (cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing).
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food meeting Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared correctly before serving.
• Restock food line and manage supplies.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food handling and cleanliness.
• Be fast and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste per procedures.
• React with urgency to guests (dine-in, takeout, drive-thru).
• Wash cookware and cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
