Job summary

Buona is seeking a Cook to prepare food to high-quality standards and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order by following provided recipes and uphold Buona standards.

Responsibilities include learning multiple positions (Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep), following recipes, maintaining portions, restocking, and ensuring food quality before serving. Health and safety compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Must work to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing.
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food that meets Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared properly before serving.
• Restock food line.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste according to procedures.
• Interact with guests during dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru with urgency.
• Wash cookware and utensils; clean equipment.
• Clean and sanitize as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
