Job summary

Buona is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality dishes and maintain a clean, sanitary work area. You will follow recipes, cook to order, and uphold the Buona standard across dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru orders.

Responsibilities include learning multiple stations, maintaining portions, restocking, and ensuring food accuracy before service. Must meet health standards and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.

Responsibilities

• Learn positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food prep processes: cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping.
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food that meets Buona standards.
• Ensure food is prepared properly before serving to guests.
• Restock food line as needed.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste per procedures.
• Act with urgency with guests (dine-in, takeout, drive-thru).
• Wash cookware and utensils; clean equipment as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
