Buona is looking for a Cook to prepare food to high-quality standards and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard.

Responsibilities include learning multiple positions, following recipes, maintaining portion control, and ensuring food quality before serving. You must have a Food Handler certificate, be able to stand long hours, and lift up to 25 lbs, while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Must work quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes properly such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing.
• Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food that meets our Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests.
• Restock food line.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures.
• Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru.
• Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
