Job summary

Buona is seeking a Cook to prepare food to high-quality standards and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order by following recipes and uphold Buona standards.

The role covers positions like Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep, with emphasis on portion control, timely execution, and adherence to health and safety guidelines. Training across stations will be provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes properly such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing.
• Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food that meets Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests.
• Restock food line.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures.
• Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru.
• Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
