H2ajobs is seeking a farm worker to care for cattle and other livestock on a live farm. You will feed, water, herd, graze, and handle animals, while maintaining records and assisting with health care and births.

Responsibilities include maintaining housing areas, moving livestock, and ensuring facilities are safe and clean. A valid driver's license is required after hire, and workers may undergo random drug testing.

Qualifications

• 1 month of recent and verifiable experience required for the listed duties.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license after hire and maintain a clean driving record.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Random drug test may be required after hire and may lead to termination if failed.

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Inspect, maintain, prepare, and repair livestock facilities, pens, yards, fences; Provide mineral to cattle.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
