H2ajobs in Minatare, Nebraska seeks a farmhand to care for cattle and ranch animals. Duties include feeding, watering, herding, branding, loading, examining for diseases, and assisting births. The role requires English proficiency and willingness to perform physical tasks.

Housing and meals are provided; three meals daily and kitchen facilities are available. Employer offers weekly transportation to stores for groceries.

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Provide mineral to cattle; Must speak English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will provide three (3) meals per day to the worker Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 5 months

Five (5) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
