Job summary

Landus is seeking a Relationship Specialist to provide outstanding customer service to farmer owners and to be part of a supportive team. You will ensure prompt attention and guide customers to the right areas to meet their needs.

The role focuses on growing agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers, while developing new business. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
• Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM. Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy
