Job summary

Landus Cooperative is seeking a Relationship Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service to farmer owners and support a collaborative sales team.

You will manage grain contracts, support agronomy and feed sales, and handle CRM entries to document interactions and inventory activity at the location. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safety and accuracy. You will work with other departments during peak season.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Associate's degree or 2–5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
• Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System). Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy
