Job summary

CLAAS FARMPOINT in Fargo, ND is seeking a Customer Account Manager to identify and develop new accounts, retain customers, and grow revenue while strengthening relationships across the customer lifecycle.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams such as parts, service and finance to support accounts in the assigned territory; travel is extensive and a valid driver’s license is required. Start date 11/23/2026.

Qualifications

• 4 year College Degree in Agriculture or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in large machinery sales or experienced marketing capacity with agricultural equipment manufacturer is preferred.
• Must have solid knowledge about farming business and the economics that drives farmers’ decision making.
• Prior experience using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) to document customer touch points and build account pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skill set.
• Knowledge of CLAAS products and retail finance process is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new accounts, retain customers, grow revenue and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Attain targeted retail (new and used equipment) and service sales within the assigned territory.
• Respond to customer queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to improve the customer experience.
• Support accounts in finding the best farm solutions based on circumstances and needs.
• Assist with marketing tools to strengthen product and market knowledge for retail sales results.
• Coordinate field demonstrations and trainings as needed.
