Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires heart for ministry and comfort working with poor and homeless families.
• Understanding of poverty and mature Inter-personal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations in crisis situations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and client databases.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for assessing clients; training, supervising and directing volunteers and interns.
• Provide client evaluations for determining services and approve those services per policy; ensure timely data collection and reporting.
• Ensure smooth and timely client flow while fulfilling the Mission with each interaction.
• Provide community resource information and maintain confidentiality with clients.
• Ensure Metro Market and Metro Outfitters have adequate volunteer support and inventory via warehouse coordination.
• Oversee operations of Metro Market and Outfitters including inventory orders and space cleanliness.
• Maintain proper temperature logs and follow USDA food requirements for Metro Market.
• Coordinate with Volunteer Services to ensure sufficient trained volunteers daily.
• Train interns and work-study students in coordination with Family Support Supervisors.
• Participate in events, KPI planning, staff meetings and ongoing trainings.
