Job summary

Sci Corp in Gotha, FL is seeking a Family Service Counselor to help families with at-need cemetery arrangements and pre-need plans, delivering personalized service and driving revenue for the cemetery.

You will lead generation efforts, build strong relationships with families, and collaborate with funeral directors and staff to provide seamless, high-quality service. Evening/weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass the Company’s internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire.
• Ability to work a number of evenings and or weekends every month.
• Ability to drive frequently.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state.
• Flexible hours and ability to work up to 12 hours in a day.
• Must treat others with empathy and respect.
• Knowledge of computers and some software.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: prospect daily, obtain referrals, network and present to families.
• Build relationships with families and provide personalized service.
• Respond to inquiries timely and professionally; understand family needs.
• Collaborate with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless service.
• Prepare for appointments and follow through on all customer requests.
• Develop trust to earn referrals and educate on pre-planning benefits.
