Job summary

Sci Corp inCharlotte, NC seeks a sales-focused associate to generate leads, build trust with families, and coordinate with funeral directors to deliver high-quality service. You will respond to inquiries, present benefits, and nurture referrals within a commission-based structure.

The role requires evening/weekend availability, frequent driving, and the ability to obtain or maintain an insurance license if required. Compensation includes a generous commission plan and annual earnings potential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass the Company's internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire.
• Ability to work a number of evenings and or weekends every month.
• Ability to drive frequently.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state/province.
• Flexible hours but, at times must have the ability to work up to 12 hours in a day.
• Ability to treat others with empathy and respect.
• Knowledge of computers and some software.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: prospecting a minimum of 1-2 hours daily, obtaining referrals, networking, presenting to families, tracking activity levels.
• Build Relationships with Families: respond to inquiries, listen attentively, understand family needs, provide value, maintain contact for satisfaction.
• Teamwork: collaborate with funeral directors and staff, review previous services, share family concerns with the SCI team.
