Job summary

Nashville Rescue Mission is hiring a full-time Guest Security / Support Specialist to join our Women's Guest Services team. This role focuses on safety, building security, and assisting guests within the campus.

You will monitor cameras, conduct room checks, file incident reports, and communicate with staff. A high school diploma and at least one year of experience with homelessness are preferred; strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year working with those experiencing homelessness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walks throughout the building checking for locked doors, bed checks, and address rule violations and unsafe or unsanitary conditions.
• Speak with guests to correct actions regarding rule violations.
• Evaluate emergency situations and handle them when the shift supervisor is not nearby.
• Write incident reports and inform the shift supervisor.
• Attend staff meetings as assigned by the Director.
• Follow policies regarding guest confidentiality and staff rules.

Education
