Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a Recruitment and Retention Coordinator to collaborate with Academic Affairs leadership and other departments to recruit, onboard, and support full-time and adjunct faculty. This grant-funded role implements strategies to attract and retain high-quality faculty and manages the faculty experience from initial contact through ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience supporting faculty, staff, or academic programs in educational settings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience using technology in online/tech-enhanced learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of full-time and adjunct faculty.
• Maintain documentation related to faculty teaching credentials.
• Coordinate and support onboarding processes for new faculty.
• Integrate new hires into the college learning community with leadership.
• Develop and manage digital records as required by campus and Systems Office.
• Provide support for evening/weekend teaching hours as needed.
• Coordinate faculty-led professional development activities.
• Ensure LMS onboarding and training with Educational Technology staff.
