Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking an HR Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for campus HR needs across the Anderson and Marion locations. The role requires regular travel between campuses to provide support, manage onboarding and offboarding, and maintain employee records in Workday and related systems.

The position supports recruitment, payroll-related tasks, and compliance with FERPA, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification with substantial HR/administrative experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and HR/admin experience may be considered.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Travel between Anderson and Marion campuses to provide HR support and maintain service levels.
• Serve as frontline HR contact, respond to inquiries, and distribute routine communications.
• Support end-to-end hiring, including scheduling and coordinating interviews.
• Manage I-9 and E-Verify processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer contingent hire, Workday transactions, and onboarding/offboarding.
• Handle Federal Work-Study processes and related Workday tasks.
• Pre-board, onboard, and orient employees, adjuncts, and student workers.
• Maintain confidential employee records and run HR reports for compliance.
• Assist with employee engagement activities and HR trainings.
