Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a Faculty Affairs Data & Operations Specialist to drive strategic project implementation, manage faculty data in Workday, and support performance review initiatives within the Office of Faculty Affairs.

You will develop dashboards, improve processes, ensure data integrity, and provide regular status updates to leadership while coordinating cross-functional projects and ensuring timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required
• Master's Degree preferred
• 3 years progressively responsible experience in higher education administration, faculty affairs, academic affairs, human resources, operations, project coordination, data management, or a related field required
• Experience coordinating projects, managing timelines, and implementing process improvements preferred; knowledge of enterprise information systems (Workday) and the ability to manage complex data sets
• Knowledge of reporting tools, dashboards, and data analysis techniques used to support decision-making; Intermediate Microsoft Office; strong customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Manages verification, maintenance, and QA of faculty data in Workday; ensures accuracy of records, appointments, roles, and affiliations
• Executes and oversees the Faculty Annual Performance Review process with planning, timelines, communications, documentation, tracking, and reporting
• Develops, maintains, and analyzes databases, reports, dashboards, and data resources supporting operations, planning, and leadership decisions
• Evaluates and improves Faculty Affairs processes, workflows to enhance efficiency, compliance, data integrity, and effectiveness
• Plans, executes, monitors, and reports on Faculty Affairs projects and initiatives with status updates, risk assessments, and leadership recommendations
