Job summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled Facility Systems Technician to operate, maintain, and repair complex electrical, plumbing, and climate-controlled systems across hospitals and clinics. You will work with minimal supervision to support an Environment of Care and ensure patient safety.

The role requires hands-on experience, proper licensure where applicable, and strong customer service. You will engage with multiple Mercy locations and adapt to fast-paced healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years commercial experience with HVAC, boilers, refrigeration equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Strong oral and written communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair electrical/plumbing systems and equipment.
• Provide safe working environment and support Environment of Care.
• Coordinate with hospital facilities and teams to minimize downtime.
